FlameRangers is a US consultancy focused on one platform: Firebase. We work with startups and product teams whose apps were built on Firestore, Firebase Auth, Cloud Functions, Hosting, or the Realtime Database — and who have reached the point where prototype-grade decisions need production-grade replacements.
Why a Firebase specialist exists
Firebase compresses the distance between an idea and a working product, which is exactly why so many successful apps are built on it. But the platform's defaults are tuned for getting started, not for scale: permissive rules ship faster than correct ones, flat data models ship faster than query-shaped ones, and the pricing model quietly converts every modeling shortcut into a recurring line item. The result is a large population of real businesses running on Firebase foundations laid during their prototype phase.
Generalist backend shops tend to answer this with "migrate to a real database" — advice that discards what Firebase does well and trades a billing problem for a rewrite. Mobile agencies tend to answer it with more features on the same foundation. We think the right answer is usually neither: keep Firebase where it is the right tool, fix the model and the rules where they are weak, and move the specific workloads that have genuinely outgrown the platform.
Who does the work
Engagements are staffed by senior US engineers who have operated Firebase systems in production — people fluent in security-rules semantics, Firestore's pricing model, and the GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Tasks) that Firebase apps grow into.
